| COMPRO’s Part Task Trainer (PTT) uses commercial off-the-shelf, Linux®-based hardware and software. Optionally, the PTT can run COMPRO’s high-fidelity Modular Universal Simulation Environment (MUSE™) software.
All PTT functional controls, instrument panels, and cockpit hardware used are representative of the actual aircraft parts and reflect the same mechanical characteristics; that is, look, feel, and operate like the actual aircraft component. The IOS, which serves as the primary interface to the trainer functions, consists of a monitor, keyboard, and mouse. The computers, which execute all the necessary and relevant calculations in order to simulate PTT procedures, use commercially available personal computers. |
